Summer Camp Scholarships
A limited number of scholarships will be available for youth interested in attending either the Redding Recreation Farm Adventures Day Camp or the Tehama County 4-H Youth Camp. These scholarships are being made available through the generous efforts of your Redding Tractor Supply Company store and their Paper Clover Campaign. Funding for 4-H Groups, Members, and Volunteers
Below are funding opportunities available through the State 4-H Office for 4-H clubs, groups, members, and volunteers on an annual basis. We wish to thank all of the individuals, companies and foundations that made gifts to the CA 4-H Foundation to make these funding opportunities possible.
For 4-H Clubs and Groups
Do you see a need in your community? Do you know 4-H members and volunteer leaders who work to improve their community? We can help. 4-H members can apply for up to $1,000 to carry out a service-learning project in their community. Intermountain Cattle Women's Beef Merit Award
2013 Intermountain Cattlewomens Beef Merit Appication
Merit Award applications and Handwritten Summaries are due to the Intermountain Fair Office by Friday, August 2, 2013 at 5:00PM
To be eligible for a merit award you must be a member of a 4-H Club or FFA Chapter in the Shasta County Intermountain area. You must be enrolled in a beef project in 2013 and plan on entering a steer at the 2014 Intermountain Fair.

Scholarships and Financial Aid for California and Washington Focus
Financial assistance is offered to youth delegates to both Washington and California Focus. Aid is based on family size, income, extenuating circumstances, and those demonstrating an active intent to use skills learned at the conference through a plan of action in their communities.
Scholarships for Higher Education (Due April 30 each year)
Statewide scholarships are designed for graduating high school and collegiate-age 4-H members to help fund educational expenses such as tuition, books, room and board, and other educational expenses. Scholarships are available in categories, ranging from 4-H leadership to agricultural goals.
Financial Aid for the 4-H State Leadership Conference (Due May each year)
Financial assistance is offered to youth delegates to each year’s 4-H State Leadership Conference. Financial aid is based on family size, income, extenuating circumstances, transportation costs, and those demonstrating an active intent to use skills learned at the conference in their communities.

4-H Golden Clover Awards
The Golden Clover Awards recognize outstanding achievement of 4-H Members, Volunteers, and Groups within the 4-H Youth Development Program. 4-H members, volunteers, and groups may be nominated or self-nominated in any applicable category. Categories recognize 4-H work in multiple areas including innovative ideas, outreach, fundraising, leadership, and lifetime service.

The American Grants and Loans Book is a publication that contains valuable information with more than 1800 financial programs, subsidies, scholarships, grants and loans offered by the United States federal government.
